The Academy of International Business Chapter U.S. West (AIB-W) is a chapter of the Academy of International Business. The AIB-W chapter represents 13 Western states in the United States: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Although geographically based, the AIB-W welcomes members from anywhere in the world.

The AIB-W chapter’s purpose is to provide AIB members with opportunities to exchange ideas, present their research, establish professional contacts, and discuss matters of mutual interest, in the scholarly realm of international business.

The Academy of International Business is the leading association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business. Established in 1959, the Academy of International Business has more than 3,000 members from dozens of countries around the world. Members include academic scholars, researchers, business practitioners, government officials, and representatives of non-governmental organizations. The Academy of International Business also constitutes approximately 18 chapters around the world to facilitate knowledge exchange and networking at the regional level. The AIB-W chapter represents the Western United States.
